Spring 2010: Prophets, Priests and Kings
Ralph Martin
Former OMF International missionary in Japan
12:00 – 1:00pm
For many Christians, the Old Testament remains a difficult and misunderstood part of Scripture. This series of classes will look at the themes of prophet, priest, and king to see how they interact and move ultimately to the New Testament and to Jesus Christ in particular.
The course will cover the following:
| Week 1 | 15 February | Roots and Shoots Words about words |
| Week 2 | 22 February | Roles Functions and failings |
| Week 3 | 1 March | Rituals Cult and cant |
| Week 4 | 8 March | Risks Deranged or dramatic? |
| Week 5 | 15 March | Reactions decline and despair |
| Week 6 | 22 March | Reality Christ and the church |
There is no obligation to come to every class, however as each class builds on the previous one students will gain more from the course if they are able to attend them all. Classes can be paid for on an individual basis or as a block. For further details contact Sandra McSporran (sandra.mcsporran@icc.ac.uk) or download a leaflet about all the classes below.
